JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Will the Jaguars, on a four game losing streak, be able to turn it around? That question will be on the minds of fans ready for Jacksonville's final home game of the season.
A second consecutive playoff appearance is in question, but the Jaguars can clinch the AFC South if the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts both lose this week. If the Jaguars (8-7) defeat the NFL-worst Carolina Panthers and the 5-10 Tennessee Titans next week and the AFC South is theirs.
The Texans and Colts also have 8-7 records and the two teams play each other next Sunday. The Texans play the Titans this week and the Colts play the Las Vegas Raiders (5-10), both are at 1 p.m.
The Jaguars will be without star quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who succumbed to a shoulder injury he suffered against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week. First, it was a scary ankle injury during Monday Night Football, then undergoing concussion protocol after playing the Cleveland Browns.
Now, after a right shoulder injury he received against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, backup QB C.J. Beathard gets the start.
There are positives: Offensive lineman Cam Robinson returns after a lengthy injury and tight end Evan Engram hopes to continue his string season.
Injury report:
- WR Zay Jones- Knee/Hamstring/INACTIVE
- OL Cam Robinson-Knee/Questionable

Cornerback Tyson Campbell, safety Andre Cisco, tight end Brenton Strange and offensive linemen Ezra Cleveland and Walker Little were limited in practice this week.
