Jaguars' offensive tackle Cam Robinson to return to practice this week

Robinson missed the first four games of the season. After his return, he injured his knee during Week 12 against the Houston Texans.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — After an extended absence from the field, Offensive Tackle Cam Robinson is slated to make a comeback for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Robinson, who has been sidelined for multiple games this season, is on the brink of rejoining the team, according to Head Coach Doug Pederson's recent statements.

In a press briefing on Tuesday, Pederson disclosed that Robinson's 21-day practice window had been initiated, signaling a significant step forward in the player's recovery and potential return to active gameplay. Expressing an optimistic outlook, Pederson indicated that there is a positive expectation for Robinson's participation in the upcoming game against the Carolina Panthers scheduled for Sunday.

The Jaguars are in need of more protection up front.

"While it's still a bit down the road, we're hopeful and optimistic that he'll be ready to go," Pederson remarked during the media session, hinting at the potential reinstatement of Robinson into the Jaguars' lineup.

Robinson's absence due to injury and a PED (Performance Enhancing Drug) violation has prompted the Jaguars to rely on Walker Little and Ezra Cleveland to fill his position in the offensive line. Little and Cleveland have been shouldering the responsibilities in Robinson's stead, endeavoring to maintain the team's performance despite the absence of the seasoned Offensive Tackle.

The impending return of Robinson brings anticipation and potential lineup adjustments for the Jaguars as they prepare to face the Carolina Panthers, marking a crucial moment in the team's season as they aim to regain strength with the veteran player's comeback.
