Two weeks after an injury scare, Monday Night Football defeat and the cart-related humor that soon followed, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has gifted golf carts to his offensive line.
Lawrence partnered with E-Z-GO for the gifts. Lawrence and the offensive lineman appear to be in good spirits driving the vehicles around a practice field.
"Guess this is where all the golf carts were," he posted on X.
"Had to treat my boys right, they sacrifice a lot for us and myself so I did something special for them for Christmas," Lawrence says.
Gifts from a quarterback to his offensive line is nothing new, with Tom Brady once buying his linemen Audis in 2008 and Russell Wilson doling out $12,000 in Amazon stock in 2019.
Jacksonville came under some fire from national outlets after Lawrence walked off the field with assistance, but did not seek a cart.
The 8-5 Jaguars take on the AFC leading Baltimore Ravens (10-3) 8:20 p.m. Sunday on NBC.
