ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — A St. Augustine woman is now the fifth person on the First Coast to win a $1 million prize in a scratch-off game.

Jessica Searnock, 37, won the $5 Monopoly Secret Vault Scratch Off Wednesday. She purchased the ticket from the Publix in 125 Jenkins Street in St. Augustine.

She will receive the winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $576,900.

The Publix will receive a $2,000 payment for selling the ticket.

Tuesday, the Florida Lottery announced a Ponte Vedra Beach man won a $1 million prize off a scratch-off game.

Natwar Patel, 67, claimed the prize from the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee Tuesday. Patel chose to receive his winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.

He bought the lucky ticket at a Murphy USA gas station at 1570 Branan Field Rd. in Middleburg. The retailer was awarded $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

Patel's win came after three other First Coast residents won a $1 million prize, also off scratch-off tickets.

On Friday, a Green Cove Springs woman claimed a $1 million prize off the same scratch-off game. Last Tuesday, another Ponte Vedra Beach man won the same $1 million prize off the same game. And on Dec. 2, a Jacksonville Beach man won off the same scratch-off game.

The Florida Lottery says the $50 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game has the best odds to win $1 million. The game's top prize is $25 million, the largest of any Florida scratch-off game offers.
