Jacksonville Beach man won $1 million prize playing a scratch-off game. Here's where he bought it

Dale Rosato, 51, claimed his winnings from the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game and chose the receive his winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville Beach won a $1 million prize from a scratch-off game, the Florida Lottery announced Monday.

Dale Rosato, 51, claimed his winnings from the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game, and chose the receive his winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.

Rosato bought the scratch-off at the Gate located at 4121 San Pablo Parkway, and the gas station got $2,000 in bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off.

The top prize for the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game is $25 million, the largest offered by any Florida scratch-off game.

The game's overall winning odds are 1-in-4.23, according to the Florida Lottery.
