Your Photos: County-by-county damage reports Friday as wind speeds top 73 mph in Jacksonville

Downed trees have been reported in Columbia, Baker, Duval, Clay and St. Johns counties, and there are widespread power outages in Columbia, Duval and Clay counties.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Severe Thunderstorm Watch several counties on the First Coast were under Friday morning, has been cancelled.

Here are damage reports county-by county.

Columbia County

Trees and power lines are down, according to Columbia County Emergency Management Director Shayne Morgan.

There are also widespread power outages, to include the following companies:

  • Duke Energy
  • Suwannee Valley Electric
  • Clay Electric
  • Florida Power & Light

Baker County

There have been reports of tree limbs down and shingles blown off roofs.

Duval County

Widespread power outages have happened across the county.

Big Oak trees are down near 'The Pig Bar-B-Q' restaurant on Lem Turner Road. Multiple trees are also down on houses along Trout River Boulevard. And Diana Perrin tells First Coast News a tree fell down on Cougar Road.

Power lines are down on Eastport Road and a tree fell on top of them.

Duval County Public Schools posted on Facebook that "many" schools are experiencing weather-related power and telephone outages.

A semi-truck was overturned on the Dames Point Bridge after wind speeds topped 73 mph in Jacksonville. The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department says one person was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Several trees along Pleasant Valley Drive in Jacksonville went down after lightning struck them during severe weather on Friday.

Clay County

There are widespread power outages and several downed trees off of Springfield Road, according to Emergency Management Director Timothy Devin.
