Driver crashes into fire hydrant, flooding streets and yards in Arlington area

The crash sent water through the yards and down the street in the neighborhood. No injuries were reported.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville woman is in custody after a crash that took out a fire hydrant on Arlington Road early Tuesday, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

It happened around 2 a.m. The crash sent water through the yards and down the street in the neighborhood. No injuries were reported, according to First Coast News crews on the scene.

JSO said a woman was taken into custody in relation to the crash. First Coast News is working to learn what charges the driver is facing.
