JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Although fans who attended the Jacksonville Jaguars home game last Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers may have seen it, one of two new additions at EverBank Stadium "weighing nearly 14,000 pounds," probably was not heard due to the Jaguars' brutal loss.

The following two new elements were recently added at EverBank Stadium to enhance the gameday experience for fans.

Firehouse Subs Fire Truck

On Thursday, Nov. 9, Firehouse Subs told First Coast News 'The Firehouse Subs Fire Truck' was hoisted more than 230 feet in the air and was carefully placed on the south end zone deck in the stadium by a crane.

“As a brand founded in Jacksonville by two firefighters, this fire truck represents Firehouse Subs’ first responder heritage and commitment to supporting public safety through our Firehouse Public Safety Foundation,” President at Firehouse Subs Mike Hancock said in a news release. “We couldn’t be more excited to share our passion for public safety, while supporting our hometown team.”

The teal-colored fire truck isn't just for cosmetic appeal either, as the restaurant states that fans can enter their "Junior Fire Chief of the Game sweepstakes" for the opportunity to sound the sirens every time the Jags score, according to the release. The restaurant says sirens will go off every home game through the end of the regular season, too.

On Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023, Firehouse Subs dropped 'The Firehouse Subs Fire Truck' inside EverBank Stadium to add to fans' gameday experience.

Additionally, the release mentions that the sweepstakes is only for one Jags fan between the ages of four to 12. The lucky fan will also get the chance to watch a Jaguars game from the driver’s seat of the fire truck, flash the truck’s lights, honk its horn and be granted a "swag bag" that includes four game tickets and one parking pass courtesy of the Jaguars, the release states. "The Jaguars are always looking for innovative experiences for fans that add to the excitement they can experience on gameday,” Jaguars Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships Scott Massey said in the release. “We’re thrilled to welcome this customized, co-branded teal fire truck that will provide fun photo opportunities for fans as well as a chance win the most unique seat in the stadium for contest winners.”

AI Chatbot

The Jaguars launched an AI chatbot that acts as a virtual concierge for fans on Thursday. Fans can text the chatbot things like: “How many touchdowns has Trevor Lawrence thrown?” or “Where’s the nearest concession stand near my section?”

To access the chatbot, visit the Jaguars' website here and click on the text message icon in the bottom right-hand corner.

Fans can experience the two new additions at EverBank Stadium this Sunday as the Jaguars will host the Tennessee Titans at 1 p.m.
