JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The final weekend of the NFL's regular season is upon us, as fans worldwide are gearing up for 15 hours of football.
All 15 of those hours could have playoff implications for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Jaguars simply need to win on Sunday to advance to the playoffs as AFC South division champions, but even with a loss, they could still advance. First Coast News is On Your Side, walking you through each game that could affect the Jaguars' hopes.
Saturday, 4:35 p.m. on ABC 25: Steelers at Ravens
The AFC Conference's top-seeded Baltimore Ravens will host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday.
For the Jags to potentially earn a Wild Card spot if losing to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, they would need the Steelers to lose.
A win by Baltimore would increase the Jaguars' odds of making the playoffs to 80%, according to the New York Times Playoff Calculator.
Saturday, 8:15 p.m. on ABC 25: Texans at Colts
The Indianapolis Colts host the Houston Texans Saturday, in a game that sends the winner to the playoffs... but that's only if there's actually a winner at all.
In the rare event of a tie, the Jaguars would only have to tie with the Titans to win the AFC South and advance to the playoffs. However, it would eliminate the chance of claiming a Wild Card spot.
If the Steelers lose, it would be best to have a winner in the Texans-Colts game for the Jaguars' sake. But if the Steelers win, Jags fans will be wanting to see a tie in Indianapolis.
Sunday, 1 p.m. on CBS: Jaguars at Titans
This game isn't officially a "do-or-die," but if the Jaguars have any intentions on making a deep playoff run, they'll need to win this game.
If the Jags beat the Titans on Sunday like they did in week 18 last year against Tennessee, they will win the AFC South, clinch the No. 4 seed, and host the Cleveland Browns next weekend in the Wild Card Round at EverBank Stadium. The Jaguars lost to the Browns 31-27 just last month, but that game was played in Cleveland.
But, if the Jaguars lose and got the help they needed from Baltimore, the late games on Sunday become important as well.
Sunday, 4:25 p.m. on FOX: Broncos at Raiders
In a pretty bizarre twist, the playoff fate of the Jaguars would all come down to a game between two teams who are already eliminated from playoff contention.
The Denver Broncos will travel to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders. And the Jaguars will need the 7-9 Raiders squad to knock off the 8-8 Broncos.
Why? It's complicated, but it all comes down to tiebreakers.
If the Jaguars, Steelers, Colts, Texans and Bengals all finish at 9-8, the Jaguars would win this tiebreaker.
But, if the Broncos sneak into the fray and win versus the Raiders, it would be the Steelers who would come away with the 7th and final Wild Card spot.
Furthermore, even if the Steelers and Broncos lose and Jacksonville backs into a playoff spot, the Sunday Night Football game would become of interest to Jags fans.
Sunday, 8:20 p.m. on NBC 12: Bills at Dolphins
If the Jaguars grab a Wild Card spot, this game would determine their Wild Card Round playoff opponent.
Jacksonville would have to travel to play the winner of the Bills-Dolphins showdown next weekend.
The Jaguars beat the Bills earlier this season in London, but did not play against the Dolphins.
