KINGSLAND, Ga. — Camden County has found the new leader of its football program, naming Travis Roland the head coach.
Roland takes over a sought-out position after legendary coach Jeff Herron retired earlier this year.
Roland comes from Mainland High School, where he led the Buccaneers to a 14-1 record and the State Championship Title this past season. It was the school’s first title since 2003, when Roland was a player on the team.
In three years at Mainland, Roland has posted a 30-10 record with a state runner up finish in 2022.
