UPDATE: The Florida Department of Education is encouraging long-distance learning after announcing Tuesday evening that all campuses within Florida school districts will be closed until April 15 in order to combat the spread of COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus.

Schools:
DUVAL
- Duval County Public Schools will be closed through May 1.
- Jacksonville University is extending the period of online teaching and learning for the remainder of the Spring semester and through the first Summer term, ending June 20th, as we practice social distancing in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- The Bolles School is closing its four campuses beginning Saturday to all but boarding students, resident families and essential personnel. Students will take scheduled courses through the school's distance learning program. The length of the closure is not known, but it will be a minimum of two weeks following spring break, expecting to return to school Monday, April 6.
- Jacksonville Country Day School has decided to suspend campus activities and move to remote learning until March 30, following spring break.
- Episcopal will move to its Remote Learning Protocol beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 23, through Friday, March 27. Extracurricular events, practices, and rehearsals will be canceled for the week of March 23. Directors and coaches will provide guidance for individual teams and groups during this remote learning protocol. Local athletic contests scheduled before March 23 will continue as planned unless further changes are needed. Our plan at this time is to resume class on campus beginning Monday, March 30.
CLAY
Clay County Schools announced the district will be closed through May 1.
Clay County Animal Services will allow access at the shelter by appointment only beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020, until further notice. Please call the shelter at (904) 269-6342 to schedule appointments for owner reclaims and foster pick-ups.
ST. JOHNS COUNTY
All St. Johns County School District school campuses will be closed through May 1. Parents can still contact teachers and the school via phone or email.
Columbia
Columbia County school campuses will be closed through May 1.
FLAGLER
Flagler County School District announced it will take an additional week off after spring break, returning to school March 30.
WARE
All Ware County Schools will be in session Monday, March 16. Schools will close Tuesday, March 17 and will remain closed through Spring Break.
ll locally planned or sponsored Ware County School System activities taking place through the weekend of March 14 will be canceled due to concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19.
The SAT exam scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at Ware County High School in Waycross, GA has been postponed until Saturday, March 28. Students registered to take the exam will be notified by the College Board and should check the email with which they registered for additional information.
BRADFORD
The Bradford County School District is changing its meal schedule. Breakfast and lunch will only be provided Mondays and Thursdays starting the week of April 6.
CHARLTON
Charlton County Schools will be closed beginning March 16 until March 20 after a person has been confirmed to have COVID-19 in the county. The school district will evaluate whether or not to continue closing the school on a weekly basis. All activities, practices and rehearsals have been canceled.
CAMDEN
Effective Tuesday, Camden County Schools will be closed indefinitely. All faculty and staff will report to school Tuesday but children will not report.
City/County Closures:
DUVAL
- All city-owned event venues including TIAA Bank Field, VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, Times-Union Performing Arts Center and Prime Osborn Convention Center will remain closed until further notice.
- All libraries closed.
- Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens will close March 14 through April 3
- Jacksonville Public Library: All locations to close starting March 13 until further notice.
- Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens is officially closed. All activities within the arboretum are canceled.
- Duval County Courts: Felony court dates passed from March 16 to March 30.
- March 16 to March 27: The Duval County Clerk of Courts is suspending all jury trials. Any citizen who received a summons to appear for jury duty March 16 or March 23 is asked not to come to the courthouse as their jury service will be excused. All other functions of the clerk's office continue to operate normally.
- Duval County small claims court, including pretrial conferences and mediation, will be rescheduled for the March 19 and March 26 court dates to April 28 and May 5, respectively.
ST. JOHNS
• All St. Johns County libraries and the library bookmobile.
• All recreational facilities, recreational programming, recreational events, and all permitted events, including organized youth and adult sports, on St. Johns County property.
• The St. Johns County Ocean and Fishing Pier Gift Shop and all permitted events on associated County property, including the parking lot, volleyball courts, and the pier pavilion.
• All events scheduled to occur at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds, St. Johns County Agriculture Center, St. Johns Golf Club, and Pet Center are canceled.
• All St. Johns County recycling and community collection events.
• All St. Johns County Fire Rescue community programming.
The St. Johns Golf Club, St. Johns County’s beaches, parks, open green spaces, and trails remain open.
City of St. Augustine has executed Administrative Order 2020-06, to extend current restrictions and guidelines through May 8 which includes:
- All permitted events, festivals, and large gatherings are canceled
- All public meetings, including City Commission, Code Enforcement Adjustments and Appeals Board, Historic Architectural Review Board, and Planning and Zoning Board, except for emergency meetings as needed, are canceled;
- All non-essential meetings that do not address the immediate operations and function of municipal business are canceled;
- The Governor’s Emergency Order 20-71 prohibits all on-site consumption of food or alcohol by vendors and licensed establishments;
- The Visitor Information Center is closed, and all City-managed on-street and off-street parking is suspended;
- All parking meters, payment kiosks, and mobile parking app (ParkStAug) will not accept payments;
- Termination of water service for non-payment will be suspended;
- City Hall offices are closed to the public;
- For the duration of time while City offices are closed to public access, convenience fees for payment will be waived.
CLAY
City of Green Cove Springs closes down all its city playgrounds and sports fields as of sundown Monday. This includes Spring Park splash pad, playground and beach volleyball court; Vera Francis Hall Park playground, basketball court and softball field; Augusta Savage Friendship Park playground and basketball field; Thomas Hogans Memorial Gym; and Augusta Savage Arts and Community Center playground, soccer field and softball field.

The Town of Orange Park has closed all Town parks and canceled all park facility reservations through at least April 15, 2020. This includes the following parks:
- Town Hall Park & Playground located at 2042 Park Ave.
- Clarke House Park located at 1039 Kingsley Ave.
- Orange Park Sports & Recreation Park located at 1101 Gano Ave.
- This park encompasses the ball fields, tennis courts and playground areas.
- Orange Park Skateboard Park located at 1006 Fromhart St.
- TC Miller Community Center & Recreation Park located at 440 McIntosh Ave.
- Somer’s Sunshine Park located at the corner of Gano Ave. and DeBarry Ave.
At this time, Magnolia Cemetery will remain open. Magnolia Cemetery is located at 1040 Kingsley Ave.
CAMDEN
Any pools licensed by the Department of Public Health including, but not limited to those belonging to homeowner associations, apartment complexes and hotels, shall be temporarily closed as part of the previously announced closure of all entertainment and recreation facilities.
FLAGLER
Flagler County closed its main library out of precaution of COVID-19. It will remain closed until further notice.

DUVAL
The Jacksonville Icemen's league, the ECHL, has canceled the remaining 2019-2020 season as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens is closed until further notice due to the health concerns of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). All activities within the arboretum are canceled.
- March 21: Pilobolus at the Florida Theatre
- March 22: Theatre Jacksonville has canceled its Big Hat & Jazz Birthday Brunch, which was to be held in San Marco Square on March 22.
- March 22: Jacksonville's highly anticipated Brunch and Bloody Mary Festival is being postponed due to concerns over COVID-19, or the coronavirus, organizers announced on social media Thursday. The Brunch Fest, which was supposed to take place on March 22 in Riverside, said it will be postponed until further notice. MORE.
- March 24: YES & The Alan Parsons Live Project has confirmed that they are regretfully no longer performing on a handful of shows including the Florida Theatre on March 24 at 7:30 p.m.

- March 26: The Salvation Army of Northeast Florida's Celebrity Chefs Fundraiser
- March 27: MasterChef Jr. Live at the Florida Theatre
- March 28: Brothers Again at the Florida Theatre

- April 2 - 5: Cathedral District Jacksonville announced that its inaugural spring event, Spring into the Cathedral District, has been postponed until further notice over concerns about the spread of COVID-19.
- April 3 to 5: The Jacksonville In-Water Boat Show has been canceled. If you have already purchased tickets, they will be refunded, but show organizers ask for patients as they process those refunds.
ST. JOHNS COUNTY
The Taste of St. Augustine event originally scheduled for April 26 at The Amp St. Augustine has been canceled. The event is scheduled to return April 25, 2021.
The St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park announced it's closing its zoo until further notice. The farm said it is still providing the best of care to its entire animal collection and hopes to reopen soon.
The City of Augustine has announced the cancellation of the following events:
- March 20-22, Lions Seafood Festival;
- March 27-29, Rotary's and Ribs Festival
St. Augustine Amphitheater and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is postponing shows scheduled for these dates. Hold onto tickets. They will be honored for the rescheduled dates.

- The Clay County Fair has canceled its 2020 fair due to concerns over the coronavirus. Ticket holders will be issued a refund, but it must be requested by April 12 here OR you can keep your ticket and use it for the 2021 fair.
- March 28: The Clay County Vietnam Veterans Day Ceremony that was scheduled for Saturday, March 28 at the TAPS Monument in Green Cove Springs has been canceled

Flagler
