JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two people who were engaged in a gunfight have now been arrested after bullets struck a school bus, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Monday, police were called to the 2200 block of Doctor Roy Baker Street in Hogans Creek after a bullet hit the bus's window while 30 children were inside.
Police said they discovered that a teenage boy and a 23-year-old woman were involved in a verbal altercation at a nearby apartment complex, which led to them shooting at each other.
JSO was able to arrest both of them Tuesday after investigating the incident.
Nailah Doles, 23, and Jayden Mobley, 17, are facing attempted murder charges.
