Three people sentenced in Jacksonville apartment invasion murder in 2022

Three people were charged with second-degree murder but, the length of the sentencings are different.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Three people were sentenced Thursday for killing a man in an apartment invasion robbery that took place on May 15, 2022 in Jacksonville.

Tarek Randolph was sentenced to 40 years for second-degree murder, attempted armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Sydney Nicole Buhl was sentenced to 20 years for second-degree murder. Chase Robison, the trigger man in the murder, was sentenced to life for second-degree murder, attempted armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

On May 15, JSO says the man had drove himself to the hospital and died minutes later after arriving as he was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police say the murder happened at Willow Ridge Condominiums, located at 3640 Kirkpatrick Cir. on Jacksonville's Westside.
