JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A corrections officer employed by the Jacksonville County Sheriff's Office has been arrested, the agency confirmed Friday afternoon.
Sheriff T.K. Waters said corrections officer Romeo Kei was arrested 1:30 a.m. Friday and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery after a fight with a family member, who was also arrested. Waters said Kei and the family member claimed the other started the fight. There were children in the home at the time of incident and they are now safe, Waters said.
