JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Boogie Wit da Hoodie announced a new Jacksonville tour date on Friday after his show on June 4 as part of the tour, was cancelled.
The rapper, singer and songwriter whose real name is Artist Julius Dubose, made the announcement on X the same day as releasing his seventh album: Better Off Alone. He's known for songs titled "Drowning" and "Jungle."
The 'Better Off Alone' tour will bring along special guests NLE Choppa, Luh Tyler and Byron Messia on select dates, a news release states.
The new Jacksonville date will still be held at Daily's Place as originally planned, but now will take place on Oct. 22 at 8 p.m.
Concertgoers who bought tickets to the June show will receive refunds, according to Ticketmaster; the company's website does not state why the tour date as well as others, was pushed back.
"No action is required to obtain a refund," Ticketmaster's website states. "It will be processed to the original method of payment used at time of purchase, once funds are received from the Event Organizer, which is usually completed within 30 days. If the Event Organizer is offering a credit option, it will be visible within the Event Details of your order, which can be found in your Ticketmaster account."
Tickets to the new tour dates will be available starting with Citi presale on Friday at noon, lasting until Tuesday at 10 p.m. The general on sale will begin on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
