Local weather: Showers now through Sunday morning, then more widespread rain later Sunday afternoon and evening

Rain chances stay elevated through the work week.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —

HEADLINES:

- Temperatures stay in the 80s thanks to rain and cloud cover

SUNDAY: More rain will be around than Saturday. If you have to get outside, the morning hours are better. Showers are possible Sunday morning, but rain will become more widespread and heavier later in the afternoon and evening. Flooding is possible in urban, low-lying, coastal and poor drainage areas.

MONDAY-TUESDAY: Scattered rain and storms remain possible with a 60% coverage of rain.

WEDNESDAY-THURSDAY: Another low will likely set up along the front and increase rainfall across the First Coast.
