JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The First Coast's Most Accurate Weather Team has issued an Impact Alert Day for Monday, as storms are expected to roll through the region this afternoon and into the evening.

WHEN: Monday, July 1, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

IMPACT: 60% coverage of rain and thunderstorms for Jacksonville's densely populated areas, as well as a marginal severe threat for all of Southeast Georgia and most of Northeast Florida.

NEED: Take care during your evening commute, staying prepared for blinding downpours during the afternoon drive time that could slow you down getting home or to afternoon activities.
