JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Strong winds can be seen ripping the roof off of a building on Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville Friday afternoon.
The video, attached here, was taken by Kelvin Hernandez, the owner of KCuts Barbershop in the 10700 block of Beach.
This is nearby to where a car was picked up by the wind and flipped over Friday afternoon.
The wind that caused these incidents has not been confirmed as a tornado. However, the storm Friday afternoon triggered tornado warnings that lasted until 2:45 p.m.
The National Weather Service later confirmed an EF-1 tornado struck the Southside.
