JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — JEA crews worked to restore power to more than 100,000 customers in Jacksonville Friday after Hurricane Helene swept through Florida Thursday.
In Columbia County, roughly 75.8% of customers, 25,163 total, between Florida Power & Light and Clay Electric are without power as of 2:30 p.m.
In Ware, Glynn and Camden counties, approximately 57,340 customers are without power in Georgia.

JEA
As of 2:30 p.m. Saturday, JEA's outage map reported more than 16,180 customers affected by outages across Jacksonville, approximately 3.03% of total customers.
JEA said in a news release shared with First Coast News Friday that "crews have completed 181,000-plus restorations, resolving more than 77 percent of outages." Crews will continue to manage and maintain water and sewer plants and stations without power with portable assets and equipment.
"Our crews will be working around the clock to restore power to our customers. Rest assured, they won’t stop until power is back for every customer," JEA CEO and Managing Director Vickie Cavey said in the release.

Florida Power & Light
As of 2:30 p.m. Saturday, more than 20,000 customers across Baker, Bradford, Columbia, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns, Suwannee, Union and Volusia counties have reported power outages.

As of 2:30 p.m. Saturday, 25,200 customers in Baker, Clay, Putnam, Bradford, Marion, Union and Columbia counties are affected by power outages.
