Possible tornado damages homes in Putnam County, flooding closes I-10 on-ramp at Roosevelt Blvd.

The damage occurred in Crescent City at around 9:20 a.m. Saturday. The National Weather Service is saying it's the result of a possible tornado.

CRESCENT CITY, Fla. — Two homes sustained damage Saturday morning as severe weather made its way through the First Coast. According to the National Weather Service, the damage occurred in Crescent City at around 9:20 a.m. and is the result of a possible tornado. The entire Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia areas were under a tornado watch Saturday morning.

The severe weather has also forced the closure of the Interstate 10 on-ramp from Roosevelt Boulevard. It was closed due to flooding.
