Can the cold weather help the Jaguars out in Kansas City?

The cold weather may be to the benefit of the Jaguars in Kansas City against the Chiefs this weekend.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Its been chilly here on the First Coast recently but in Kansas city where the Jags are headed this weekend it will likely be even colder. Typically there this time of year the low temperature dips down in to the teens and that can be accompanied by an even colder wind chill.

The forecast for the game this year we do expect it to be a bit warmer than that but still rather chilly. Which could be good news for the Jags since we are coming off several cold weather wins most notably against the chargers last week which was one of the coldest games on record in the bank when the Kick off Temperature was in the low 40s just a few degrees shy of the current record being the 2010 game vs Washington when the Kickoff Temperature at the bank was 38 degrees.

Since 2010 we have lost every game we have played in Kansas City but all those games except one the temperature was in the 60s, since the Jags have been playing well in the cold this first January game on record for the Jags and Chiefs the weather could be in our favor.

Curious how TIAA Bank Field manages severe weather conditions?
