Multiple flights canceled in Jacksonville as winter weather moves across Southeast

According to Jacksonville International Airport, 15 flights in and out of the airport have been canceled.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A large winter storm moved through the southeastern U.S. Sunday, bringing high winds and snow as far south as Georgia and Alabama.

Nationwide, hundreds of flights in and out of some of the country's busiest airports have been canceled. This includes more than 1,000 flights in and out of Charlotte and 300 in Atlanta.

Although Jacksonville has not been hit by severe winter weather, flights to and from Jacksonville International Airport have been affected by the storm.

The following departures from Jacksonville are canceled:

  • 8:15 a.m. - AA-548 to Charlotte
  • 8:24 a.m. - DL-2635 to Atlanta
  • 10:35 a.m. - AA-5279 to Charlotte
  • 11:59 a.m. - AA-772 to Charlotte
  • 12:03 p.m. - AA-9962 to Manchester
  • 12:03 p.m. - AA-5304 to Washington (Reagan)
  • 12:40 p.m. - WN-3121 to Nashville
  • 2:09 p.m. - AA-5049 to Charlotte
  • 2:32 p.m. - UA-3621 to Washington (Dulles)
  • 4:32 p.m. - AA-4771 to Washington (Reagan)

The following arrivals into Jacksonville are canceled:

  • 2:53 p.m. - AA-5509 from Charlotte
  • 5:15 p.m. - AA-1522 from Charlotte
  • 6:25 p.m. - WN-2942 from Washington (Reagan)
  • 7:02 p.m. - AA-5223 from Washington (Reagan)
  • 7:42 p.m. - AA-1615 from Charlotte
