No students were injured after a bus carrying special needs students was involved in a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday in the Middleburg area, according to a spokesperson for Clay County Schools.
Clay County Fire Rescue responded to the crash involving the Exceptional Student Education bus and five other vehicles which took place on Blanding Boulevard and Foreman Circle.
Parents were notified of the crash and told to pick up their students from the crash site, according to the school spokesperson. At this time, further information was not released about the condition of the bus driver.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office said one person from the other vehicles involved in the crash was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
