JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The westbound lanes on the Hart Bridge in Jacksonville will be closed Saturday and Sunday for several hours, according to the North Florida Regional Transportation Management Center's website.
The planned closure is due to routine maintenance on the bridge as the lanes will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on both days.
Drivers attempting to travel westbound on the bridge, will be detoured to Atlantic Boulevard and use the Main Street Bridge as an alternate route, the website states. Law enforcement will be present on the bridge as well as signage will be posted to redirect traffic.
