A vehicle caught fire on Tuesday on Interstate-295 South at Commonwealth Avenue, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
Firefighters worked to extinguish the fire and drivers were warned to be careful when traveling through the area, JFRD said.
By 1 p.m., the fire was put out and traffic returned to normal.
