ST. AUGUSTINE BEACH, Fla. — Crews with The Florida Department of Transportation are working to repair The Bridge of Lions in St. Augustine after it got stuck Thursday afternoon.
FDOT told First Coast News they went out to do an inspection after receiving reports of the bridge being stuck. Once the inspection is done they will work on repairs.
At this time it is unknown what caused the bridge to malfunction.
Traffic delays are being reported around St. Augustine due to the bridge's closure.
