ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — Update: Officials have opened all I-95 southbound lanes of where the boat was found in the middle of the road Saturday morning.
Two Interstate 95 southbound lanes have been blocked in St. Johns County Saturday morning due to a boat that is currently in the road.
Heavy traffic is backed up right after the International Golf Parkway exit and stretches past the State Road 16 exit, as the scene of where the boat is, is in the midway point between the State Road 16 exit and the County Road 214 exit.
Law enforcement officials have begun working to remove the boat off the interstate, including using a crane to assist with the efforts.
Please avoid the area if possible and use caution if driving in the area.
