JACKSONVILLE, Fla — A male died in the hospital Tuesday after he reportedly crashed into another vehicle near the 6400 block of Atlantic Boulevard, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
JSO said the crash was reported around 11:30 a.m. The male driver was traveling north on Spring Forest Avenue and attempted to turn east onto Atlantic Boulevard. He failed to clear the intersection and crashed into another vehicle, police say.
The male was to the hospital by the Jacksonville Fire and Rescued Department where he later died, police say.
The other vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
