JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: All lanes have reopened.
Due to "police activity" on Interstate 95 near Atlantic Boulevard in Jacksonville Tuesday afternoon, the closure of two northbound lanes on the interstate has caused heavy traffic, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
FDOT says it is the two left northbound lanes that are closed.
Drivers are encouraged to proceed in the area with caution and seek alternative routes if possible.
