JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: Lanes have reopened on I-95 near I-295 South on Jacksonville's Southside Monday morning following a nearly hourlong closure due to a crash.
A crash on Interstate 95 near Interstate 295 South in Jacksonville Monday morning has caused two I-95 northbound lanes in the area to close, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
FDOT says the two right northbound lanes are currently blocked. Emergency officials are on the scene, assessing the incident and working to reopen the lanes as soon as possible.
Drivers are encouraged to proceed in the area with caution and seek alternative routes if possible.
