JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: The westbound lanes on Mathews Bridge are now open. The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department says no one was taken to the hospital from the scene of the crash.
All westbound lanes are currently closed on the Mathews Bridge, according to the Florida Department of Transportation, due to a multi-vehicle crash.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says the crash involves injuries and that the lanes will be closed for an "undetermined amount of time."
Drivers should use the Hart Bridge as a detour to head into Downtown Jacksonville.
