JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: I-95 southbound approaching Downtown Jacksonville has reopened after being closed for several hours "due to unforeseen construction needs".

All southbound traffic on I-95 approaching Downtown Jacksonville is being detoured to I-10 West until Friday afternoon.
Florida Department of Transportation says the closures are "due to unforeseen construction needs".
FDOT says drivers who wish to rejoin I-95 will exit at Luna Street and take I-10 east to rejoin I-95 south.
