JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. — The Jacksonville Beach Police Department is investigating a deadly crash involving a pedestrian on Beach Boulevard.
The crash happened just before 10 p.m. in the 400 block of Beach Boulevard near 4th Street North, according to the JBPD.
First responders rushed the pedestrian, identified as an adult male, to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
The driver is cooperating with the police.
The crash was one of three deadly crashes that happened Monday evening and night in the Jacksonville area. A woman suffered life-threatening injuries in a fourth crash on Lem Turner Road.
