FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — A Palm Coast motorcyclist is dead following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on I-95 in Flagler County.
A motorcycle and an SUV were both headed south on I-95. At about 9:37 a.m. near mile marker 280, the motorcyclist lost control of the bike and hit the back of the SUV, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The motorcyclist, identified as a 44-year-old Palm Coast man, was later pronounced dead, the FHP said. The driver of the SUV, identified as a 68-year-old woman, was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
