ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — One person has been airlifted from the scene of a crash on St. Johns Parkway in St. Augustine Friday afternoon. St. Johns County Fire Rescue says this person had serious injuries.
The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office says this was a single vehicle crash.
A car flipped on its side with severe damage was laying up against a palm tree in the grass median.
There was heavy traffic in the area as of 4 p.m.
One northbound lane was open but all others were blocked.
