The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said no other vehicles were involved.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash in Southwest Jacksonville Sunday morning.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said officers were notified of a crash involving a motorcycle in the 6800 block of Old Middleburg Road South near Maynard Place at 1:53 a.m. When police arrived, they found the crashed motorcycle and the driver on the ground not moving.

The Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department pronounced the driver dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet, police said.
