JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man died Monday morning after trying to cross I-95 on foot in North Jacksonville.
The crash happened at about 10:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-95 near Pecan Park Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
A semi-truck hit the 30-year-old man who was walking across the highway. He was later pronounced dead, the FHP said.
The driver of the semi-truck was not injured in the crash.
