CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — A pedestrian was hit by three vehicles while standing in the road for "unknown reason" on US-301 southbound, north of County Road 125 in Clay County Tuesday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
An SUV, then tractor trailer, and then a pickup truck collided with the pedestrian.
He was pronounced dead on scene.
All three vehicles stayed on scene.
The crash is still under investigation.
The victim has not been identified. Florida Highway Patrol has only released that it was a man.
