CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for a suspect vehicle after a Keystone Heights woman was struck while walking on State Road 100 Saturday night.
The woman, 37, was walking in the westbound lanes of SR-100 near SE Lakeview Drive around 10:45 p.m. at the time of the crash, according to FHP.
The suspect vehicle struck the woman and continued traveling west on SR-100.
The woman was taken to UF Shands in Gainesville with serious injuries.
FHP said there is no description of the suspect vehicle.
