JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: Three people were hospitalized after a crash on Interstate 295 southbound at San Jose Boulevard Tuesday afternoon, the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said.
The crash shut down three lanes of travel on I-295 southbound, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
All lanes have since reopened.
Florida Department of Transportation cameras showed a backup for miles on the interstate stemming from the crash.
Multiple fire trucks and ambulances were at the scene.
