JACKSONVILLE, Fla — One person was sent to the hospital Monday morning following a crash on University Boulevard, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
JFRD tweeted around 7 a.m. that its crews were on the way to the 4300 block of University Boulevard to extricate the patient from the vehicle.
According to First Coast News crews at the scene, investigators said one person was injured and taken to the hospital. There is no word yet on the cause of the crash.
Lanes are back open in the area.
