JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded to a crash involving two semi-trucks on I-95 in the Urban Core area.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes of I-95 at the 8th Street West Exit, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
One person was trapped inside a vehicle. That person was successfully extricated, the JFRD said.
A First Coast News crew at the scene said there were two semi-trucks involved.
It is unclear how many injuries are associated with the crash.
All southbound lanes were blocked for more than an hour. They have since reopened.
