JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: The fuel spill has been cleaned up and the scene is now clear.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department says to "expect delays" near the Baymeadows Road and Philips Highway intersection Wednesday morning due to a traffic accident involving a fuel spill.
JFRD posted on Facebook that a hazmat team is at the scene.
JFRD Captain Eric Prosswimmer tells First Coast News a truck's saddle tank was ruptured and that no one suffered injuries in the incident.
Drivers are encouraged to proceed in the area with caution and seek alternative routes if possible.
