JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man is dead and another is in critical condition following a crash on Interstate 10 westbound Tuesday in Jacksonville, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say around 3 p.m., a 20-year-old man was driving eastbound when, for an unknown reason, he crossed the median into oncoming traffic, crashing into a vehicle. He suffered critical injuries.
FHP says a 6-month-old baby girl was also in the vehicle but only suffered minor injuries.
Troopers say a 61-year-old man was driving the pickup truck that the 20-year-old man struck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A third vehicle was involved, but the driver only suffered minor injuries.
As of 8 p.m., you can still expect heavy delays in the area.
