HAMILTON COUNTY, Fla. — A Lake City man was killed and another man is in critical condition after a crash between semi trucks in Hamilton County early Tuesday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
An FHP report states the crash happened around 3:45 a.m. on U.S. Highway 129 near NW 86th Avenue.
The 57-year-old Lake City man was taken to a hospital where he later died. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to FHP.
A 48-year-old man from Georgia is in critical condition. He was not wearing a seat belt, FHP said.
The crash is currently under investigation.
