JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Emergency crews have reported a fatal single-vehicle wreck in Jacksonville on Saturday. A vehicle overturned in the southbound lanes of State Road 9B at the Interstate 95 south ramp, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
The wreck occurred just before 5 p.m. and blocked traffic on SR 9B, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The driver was "... negotiating the left curve to enter I-95 Northbound ... left the roadway onto the right shoulder ... overturned and collided with the SR 9-B Southbound overpass," a Florida Highway Patrol news release states.
The name of the victim has not been released.
