JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Drivers planning on reaching their destination via the Mathews Bridge, should know that the eastbound lanes on the bridge will be closed Sunday morning through Monday morning due to a "rehabilitation project," according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
The closure to the lanes started at 9 p.m. on Sunday and will remain closed until 6 a.m. on Monday. However, the westbound lanes on the bridge are still open. FDOT says drivers will be redirected to the Hart Bridge.
