JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — One person has died following a single-vehicle wreck Tuesday morning on the city's Southside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Jacksonville police said a woman in her 30s driving an SUV was traveling in the 8500 block of A.C. Skinner Parkway around 5:30 a.m. when the driver failed to negotiate a curve and struck a tree.
Speed appears to be a factor, according to police. The woman was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
