JACKSONVILLE, Fla — A 41-year-old man is dead after being hit by a car Saturday night off on Blanding Boulevard.
The man was walking across the southbound lanes of Blanding Blvd. near I-295 just before 11 p.m. when an Audi A4 hit him. First responders pronounced the man dead at the scene, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Charges against the 26-year-old driver of the Audi are pending, FHP said.
JSO closed all lanes of Blanding Blvd. while authorities investigated and cleared the scene.
