JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: The I-95 southbound lane at Hendricks Avenue that was closed shortly after the crash happened has reopened and traffic is back flowing.
A crash on I-95 in Jacksonville Wednesday afternoon has caused one southbound lane to close at Hendricks Avenue, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
Several emergency vehicles can be seen at the scene from FDOT's traffic cameras, as the right lane is currently blocked.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and seek alternative routes if possible.
